Brenda Lee Hopkins Scott

Brenda Lee Hopkins Scott, 65, of Old River, Texas left this earth Friday, August 11, 2017.  She was born on February 17, 1952, in Baytown, TX. To R.B. and Ladeen Hopkins.  Brenda was an Angel on Earth to many who knew her.  She was a kind and loving soul who would do anything for anyone.  Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, R.B. and Ladeen Hopkins; her son, Jason Robert Scott; step daughter, Connie Scott and Earnest Torres.  Brenda is survived by her husband of 32 years, Robert Lewis Scott; her step daughter, Terrie Walsh and husband John of Grapevine; her nephew (who was like her son) Richard Bergeron and wife Annette of Anahuac; 2 sisters,  Lila Carter and Barbara Smith and dear friend, Neva Fitzgerald; 6 grandkids, Chris Money, Hunter and Ty Bergeron, Megan and Lauren Walsh and Kalynn Torres and several nieces, nephew and friends.   A visitation for family and friend will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 9am-11am at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, Texas 77562. Funeral services will follow at 11am at the funeral home, with Brother Danny Biddy officiating.
