Matthew Wade Carswell

Matthew Wade Carswell passed away peacefully on April 10th, 2024 in the comfort of his home with his loving parents and wife by his side. Matthew was born in Channelview, Texas to Tanya and Dennis Carswell on December 21st, 1988. He attended Crosby High School and graduated in 2007. He attended The University of Texas Dallas on a debate scholarship. He was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time in New Braunfels with his family every summer. He loved a good craft beer and listening to vinyl records. He is survived by his wife Britney Pannell, stepson Aiden, brother Christopher Carswell and wife Dawn, sister Courtney Cain and husband Austin, parents Dennis and Tanya Carswell. The funeral service will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home in Highlands, Texas on Tuesday April 16th, 2024. The visitation will start at 10am and the funeral service will begin at 12pm. Matthew will be buried at Earthman Memory Gardens on Garth Road in Baytown, Texas.
