Vivian Janet Work

Vivian Janet Work, 58, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017. She was born on June 9, 1959 in Frostburg, Maryland to Charles Cutter and Karen Henninger Wuechner. She married her husband, Glenn Work in 1985 and together they raised two children, Amber and Jason. Vivian was loving, respectful, full of energy and outgoing. Her laugh was very contagious and would make you laugh if you heard her. She always put everyone else before herself. Vivian’s happy place was the beach. She loved her granddaughter, Aubrie dearly and had watched her since she was a baby. Some of Vivian’s favorite things were the Baltimore Ravens and Maryland steamed crabs. She was so much more than an amazing mother and wife, she was a beautiful person inside and out. Vivian cherished her family and was the rock and the glue that held them together. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Cutter.

Vivian is survived by her beloved husband, Glenn Work; daughter, Amber Work; son, Jason Work; mother, Karen Wuechner; stepfather, Fred Wuechner; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dorthy and Arlon Cauthen; brother, Ronnie Cutter; sister, Lilian Hawkins; granddaughter, Aubrie Herrera; and a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
