Alcie Marie Reynolds

The Dawn 2/21/54 – The Bright Light of Christ Jesus 11/15/2020

 Marie was born February 21, 1954 to Glassel and Eunice Redmon in Carthage Texas. Marie graduate from Carthage High School in 1972 and attended Panola College in Carthage from 1972 to 1973. Marie met her husband, Bob Reynolds, of 47 years and married on 7/7/1974.

Until recent years, Marie spoke often of her joy and pride of serving her classmates as an inspirational Cheerleader at Carthage High School.  Marie loved her tenure and classmates at Carthage High and spoke often of them through her life. She was a successful businesswoman in each employment she held. Much of Marie’s success was the result of the joy and laughter she offered to everyone. Marie loved everyone she met. Those that knew Marie loved her.

Marie and Bob Reynolds were blessed with a marriage of 47 years. Neither was more important than the other and they shared countless moments of joy, love, devotion, and sacrifice to the success in each of their growth in life.

Marie accepted Christ as her savior in the early nineties, succumbed to the ravages of cancer and was hugged by Christ on 11/15/2020 at 4:45PM. The world is a bit darker but Heaven is celebrating.

Surviving members of Marie’s family but not limited to, are husband Bob Reynolds, sisters Sharon Kay Leber and Vickey Redmon Ross, nieces Felica and Denice Chamness, sister in-law Lavon Carter and sister in-law and brother in-law Danita and Kenny Billings.
