Arthur C. Burns

Arthur C. Burns, 72, of Crosby, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. He was born on November 14, 1946 in Marlin, Texas to Arthur Clyde Burns and Eulene Marilyn Cutbirth. He enjoyed tinkering around in his barn and working on Hot Rods. Arthur enjoyed playing on his X-box, listening to oldies music, and birdwatching. He was a loving Christian man who was a wonderful father, husband, and friend.

Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Eulene Burns; son, Darren Ray Burns; and sister, Marilyn Burns.

He is survived by his wife of almost 51 years, Linda Burns; daughter, Julie Eileen Bugbee and husband Bill; daughter-in-law, Felicia Burns; grandchildren, Daniel Bugbee, Clayton Bugbee, Haley Burns, Hayden Burns, and Jacob Ratliff; siblings, Dianne Morrison and husband Don, Nancy Bunds and husband Mark, Elmer Glenn Burns, and Bruce Lee Burns and wife Sherry; nieces, nephews, numerous friends, and Cynthia Montgomery and extended family in England.

Services will be on Monday September 16th, 2019 at 11 AM at Highlands United Methodist Church, 107 W. Houston St. Highlands, TX 77562. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd., Highlands, TX 77562.
