Beatrice J Istre

Beatrice Joyce Istre, age 91, went to be with the lord on Sunday February 10, 2019 .  She was born in Jennings, Louisiana on January 8, 1928 to Alma Arceneaux Istre and Raymond Istre. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and singing old songs, but most of all spending time with her family. She was a very comical person with a humorous side to her, always making people laugh and a very giving person who would give the shirt off her back to anyone who needed it. She will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Chester and Morris Istre. Beatrice is survived by her sisters, Loyce Cashat, Juanita Wooten and Eunice Slaughter. Also survived by other relatives and many friends.  Services will be private.
