Billy John Jones

On May 30th 2023, Billy “Bill” John Jones of Crosby, Texas, passed away into God’s graces. A loving husband and devoted father, he spent his life caring for others and always brought a smile to those around him.

Bill was survived by many loving individuals, including his wife Charlotte Kay Jones, son Ken Jones and wife Christine of Crosby, Tx, son Gary Jones and his wife Paula of El Paso, Tx, son Bill Jones II and wife Kathy of Crosby, Tx, twin sister Betty Ford and husband Guy Ford of Deer Park, Tx, brother Thomas Jones Jr. (deceased) and nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents Pauline Ward and Thomas W. Jones Sr.

Bill was born on August 25th, 1939 in Houston, Texas. After graduating from Sam Houston High School, he went on to study business at University of Houston. While serving in the US Army, he met and married his wife, Charlotte. After a successful 50-year career in the insurance industry, Bill retired in Crosby, Tx. He greatly enjoyed being with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Bill also looked forward to playing games with the gang on Friday nights and visiting with his dear friend Melvin down the street.

Services will be held on June 16th at 10:00 AM at Sterling-White Funeral Home in Highlands, Texas.
