Brandon Tyler Briggs, 29, of Huffman, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2020, in Huffman, Texas. He was born on June 19, 1991, in Houston, Texas, to Beth Spaulding Briggs and Leo Briggs. Tyler moved to Huffman 19 years ago and made this his home. He attended Hargrave High School, where he graduated in 2009.

Tyler was a generous, softhearted person who pursued many interests, some of which were boating, motorcycles, fast cars, racing bicycles and spending time with his family and friends. He was the life of the party, and always made people laugh. Tyler was very well liked by everyone who knew him. He was also protective of his friends and family. Tyler was the type of person that if you were ever in need, he’d be the one that would give you the shirt off his back to ensure that you didn’t go without. He lived life to the fullest and it was totally on his terms.

Tyler was a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin and friend to many who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Marvin Briggs; his uncles Don Briggs, Ricky Briggs and Chris Briggs and his beloved cat Mr. Tickles. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his parents of Huffman, Texas; his sister Megan Briggs of Bothell, Washington, his grandparents Larry and Jane Spaulding of Westminster, California, his grandmother Maurine Briggs of Little Rock, Arkansas, his uncle Mike Spaulding and wife Beverly of  Huntington Beach, California, his aunt Cindi Wagoner and husband Curt of Fountain Valley, California, his aunt Susan Jirges and husband Ed of Cypress, California, numerous cousins and a host of other loving family and friends.

A memorial service to honor Mr. Brigg’s life will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Sterling-White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, Texas, 77562.
