Charles “Charlie” Ray Moore, 63 of Mont Belvieu, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 in Houston, Texas. Charlie was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Frank and Mary Moore.

Charlie was a welder by trade and loved his job at Texas Rotating Equipment. In his spare time, Charlie enjoyed hunting and fishing every chance he got. While he was a hard working man who was passionate about his job and hobbies, he valued spending time with his family above all.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 43 years, Melanie Moore; his son Brad Moore and wife Amanda; his mother Mary Moore; siblings David Moore, Danny Moore, James Moore and wife Tina, Johnny Moore and wife Margie, Tammy Payne and husband John, Pam Rogers and husband Richard; grandchildren Wesley and Whitney Moore as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Charlie is preceded by his father Frank and sister-in-law, Norma.

The family of Charlie Moore would like to extend a special thanks for Dr. Van Morris and his staff at M.D. Anderson Hospital along with Dr. Pamela Medellin and the staff of Texas Oncology.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 AM, Friday, May 20, 2022 at Sterling-White Funeral Home; 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Road, Highlands, Texas 77562. Interment will follow at 11:30 at Palms Memorial Park, 2421 Highway 146 South, Dayton, Texas 77535.
