Daniel Robert McCloud Sr.

Daniel Robert McCloud Sr, 68, of Crosby, Texas passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, April 14, 2021. He was born Monday, October 27, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky to Sherman and Lillian McCloud. In May of 1978, Daniel married the love of his life, Mary Lou.

Daniel enjoyed gardening, playing video games, or just sitting back watching NASCAR. If you could not find him at home, then you could always find him at his grandchildren’s baseball and football games. Where everyone knew him as the team Grampy. He was hardheaded, but the most loving and amazing person you could have ever met.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother “Butchy”, his grandson Noah Sanders and his great-nephew Russell McCloud.

Daniel leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 42 years Mary Lou, his five children Robby McCloud, Cindy McCloud, Heather Sanders (husband Donny), Joshua McCloud (wife Jessica) and Nicole Sellers (husband Mike); his siblings Tim McCloud, Michael McCloud, Glenda Givans, six grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family Sunday, April 18, 2021, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Sterling~White Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 19, 2021, at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of Sterling~White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, TX 77562.
