Daryle Wayne Simmons, 64, of Highlands, Texas, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Daryle was born on October 13, 1956 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to his parents, Delbert Cullen Simmons and Juanita Smith Simmons. He was currently a Field Supervisor for Gemini Contract Services. Daryle was a hard worker that would help any one that he could. He always managed to find a good deal at garage sales and antique shops. Daryle was known for his love of cokes, peanut m&ms, and Marlboros. He was a jack of all trades he could fix just about anything. He loved kids & they all loved him. He never walked into our house without having some chocolate for the little ones. He was a great man and he will be dearly missed!
He is preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Juanita Simmons; brother, Danny Ray Green; and nephews, Bubba Czerwonka and Jimmy Jannise.
Daryle is survived by his sons, Nicolas Cullen Simmons and Macky Wayland Simmons; siblings, Sharon Czerwonka - VanSchuyver and husband Jim VanSchuyver, Gwen Stasney and husband Richard, and Larry Dean Simmons and wife Vicki; nephew, Dan Green; nieces, Saundra Mendez, Crystle Czerwonka, and Marie Reese, and a host of extended family and friends. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Kevin Pickett, Chance Czerwonka, Adon Arceo, Rick Freitas, Charles Mendez, and Travis Reese . Honorary pallbearers will be Colby Vondestein and Dalton Mendez.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10am to 12pm on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Sterling White Funeral Home. Services to follow at 12pm. Burial will be in Sterling White Cemetery.
