Dominga Cantu

Dominga Cantu, 93, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 surrounded by family. She was born on April 23, 1926 in Laredo, Texas to Vicente Flores, Sr. and Aurelia Flores.  She was a homemaker that loved her grandchildren and family.  Dominga was a budding artist, who had a passion for drawing.  She had strong Christian values, and was very giving.

She is preceded in death by her father Vicente Sr., mother Aurelia Flores, sister Lupe Ojeda, brother Vicente Flores Jr., husband Pablo Cantu and son Oscar Cantu.

Dominga is survived by her sons Robert Cantu of Channelview,TX, David Cantu and wife Joe Anna of Channelview, TX, Hector Cantu and wife Loraine of Lorain, OH, grandchildren Christopher Cantu, Angela Torres and husband Alex, Samantha Cantu, Amanda Cantu, Semaj Cantu and Michelle Cantu.  She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and other extended family and numerous friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm.
