Geneva Jo Wilson

Geneva Jo Wilson was born on February 14, 1923 in Rosston, Arkansas and peacefully passed away on Saturday September 9, 2023 in Baytown, Texas.

Jo’s life was a testament to her love of family and friends. Everyone who knew her loved her and her kindness, enthusiasm, and willingness to help those around her touched everyone she encountered. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, traveling, and playing bridge. Jo leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will be carried forward by those who loved her.

Jo was preceded in death by her beloved husband Edwin Wilson. She is survived by her beloved brother James Wallis and sister -in-law Patricia Wallis, devoted daughter Sylvia Wilson, son-in-law Jim Wadzinski, grandson Sterling Wadzinski, step grandchildren Sean Wadzinski and Charisse Wadzinski, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren, all of whom held special places in her heart.

To honor and remember Jo, there will be a visitation on Friday September 15, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a service to begin at 7:00pm. The gathering will take place at Sterling White Funeral Home at 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Road, Highlands TX 77562. A graveside service will be held on Saturday September 16, 2023 at 10:00am at Oak Knoll Cemetery situated on West Main Street in Bellville, TX.
