Gregory Eugene Massey

Gregory Eugene Massey passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the age of 64. He was born on August 16, 1955 in Hughes Spring, Texas to Jack and Jane Massey. Greg served our country in the Air Force from 1972-1974. He was a licensed pilot and enjoyed being in and around planes. He worked as a machinist as well as in management for 8 years with Priority Artificial Lift Services. Greg was a talented mechanic who built his very own gyrocopter and was restoring a ’32 Ford Coupe (but with a Chevy engine). He was a devoted Christian and was very steadfast in his beliefs. Greg was a very social man who never met a stranger. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Greg is preceded in death by his father, Jack Massey. He is survived by his mother, Jane Massey; daughter, Danielle Shelton and husband Chris; daughter, Victoria Massey; sister, Emily Ray and husband Johnny; sister Jackie Sanders, brother, Michael Massey and wife Leslie; and extended family and friends.

A visitation for Greg Massey will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral Services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Sterling-White Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, Texas, 77562.
