James H. White

James Hamilton White, 99, died March 19, 2020, at his home in Highlands, TX. He was born on October 3, 1920, in Oakhurst, Tx the son of Preston White and Angie (White) Main.

James served in the Army during World War II. He was married to the late, Virginia (Peterson) White for 69 years.  He retired from Exxon after dedicating 40 years. He will always be known for being a hard worker, inventive, and giving.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 2 half-brothers, Leroy Wilson and Albert White, and granddaughter Grace Chase. He is survived by daughter, Darlene Carter and husband Roy, son Dale White and wife Angie, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
