Josh Higginbotham

Floyd Joshua “Josh” Higginbotham age 74 passed away Tuesday February 4, 2020 in Baytown, Texas. Josh was born in Houston, Texas September 6, 1945 the son of the late Edgar Joshua Higginbotham ad Edna Ellen Starkey Higginbotham. Josh loved to buy and sell cars. He had a passion to restore, build, and buy vintage cars. His favorite was his 1962 Chevy Impala and his 1957 Bel Air. Josh served in the US Army and was discharged honorably. He worked for numerous years for Dupont, after his injury he started Higginbotham Motors. He also worked as a staff recruiter for Trans Ocean, MHMRA, and Lone Star NGL. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of twenty-five years Barbara J. Higginbotham, son Blake Higginbotham (Alicia), daughter Tosha Wade, daughters Julie Franks (Dustin Hodges), Erica Campbell (Scott), and a son Trey Franks. In addition he leaves his brother Louis Higginbotham (Helen), sister Carol Putney, and nine grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service for Josh will be held 2PM Monday February 10, 2020. Family and friends can gather one hour prior to the memorial service at Sterling White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd.
