Joyce Ann Phillips, Henderson, Chandler

Was born August 25, 1938 to Madge and Duard Phillips in Black Mountain North Carolina. Joyce (Jo) was/is preceded in death by her parents and older sister June Sanderson. Joyce and her family move to California where she grew up and then married her first husband Edgar Royce Henderson. The divorce force Joyce (Jo) and her children to move to Las Vegas. She then met and married Richard Chandler. Joyce moved to Page, Arizona to care for her mother and father. Upon their deaths she moved to Houston, Texas to join her daughter’s family. Joyce (Jo) loved going to the Second Christian church were she had been a member for four years. Her life enjoyment was her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Joyce (Jo) is survived by her children, Royce Belmont Henderson, Cindy Ann Allen (Robert), Sherry Dawn Green (Dudley/Dusty) and Angel Spangenberger (Richard), her ten grandchildren. Royce Clifford Henderson, Evan Micheal Henderson, Melinda Joel Dunworth, Marianne Elizabeth Sarubbi, Kathrine (Katy) Rose Sarubbi, Dudley (Dustin) Jay Green Jr., Cody Jay Green, Marshal Jay Green Sr., Amanda Jae Green and Alaina Spangenberger. Joyce (Jo) is also survived by a sister Monda and her Husband Buddy Lancaster, two nieces; Wanda Lauderdale and Belinda Lancaster, two nephews; Kevin and Jody Sanderson, and ten great grandchildren. A memorial to her life will be held at Second Christian Church at 4801 Edison St. Houston, Texas 77009 Sunday June 24th, 2018 at 12:30pm officiated by Jeffrey Eernisse (713)-692-3503.
