Manuel R. Elizondo

Manuel R. Elizondo age 94 passed away at his home July 25, 2019. Manuel was born December 22, 1924 in Sugarland, Texas the son of the late Jesus Elizondo and Estefana Rodriguez Elizondo. Manuel was one of the original welders to work at Exxon Mobil, he was proud of his work and the company he worked for the past forty-one years. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Janie O. Elizondo, sons Manuel O. Elizondo and Louis O. Elizondo, as well as numerous sisters and brothers. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Janie Gonzalez (Lupe), sons Robert Elizondo (Marilyn), Jerry Elizondo (Marygail), David Elizondo (Janet), Albert Elizondo (Karen), and Joel Elizondo (Fina). In addition, he leaves a brother Pedro Elizondo (Julieta), daughter-in-laws Cathy Elizondo and Diana Elizondo, sixteen Grandchildren, twenty-nine great- grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation for Manuel will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 5-8PM at Sterling White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, Texas 77562. Rosary service to be held 7PM Wednesday. Funeral mass to be celebrated 10AM Thursday August 1, 2019, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 800 S. Main Highlands, Texas. Burial to immediately follow service in Sterling White Cemetery.
