Melinda Sue Rowlett

Melinda Sue Rowlett (Lindy), 64, of Baytown, Texas passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 15, 2020. She was born on Monday, September 24, 1956, in Houston, Texas, to Alfred Cano and Margaret Cano (Johnston).

Lindy found enjoyment in many things, some of which included dancing, listening to her favorite country and Christian music, going to the beach, boating and jet skiing, four wheeling, and spending time with family, and many friends. She was "The Life of the party”, never met a stranger, and always had the biggest smile.  She was a hard-working woman who took pride in what she did. She worked as a Home Health Supervisor for 20 years, and she was very successful.

Melinda was a loving mother, meme, daughter, sister, and friend to many who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her, father Alfred Cano, and sister, Deedee O'Leary. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memories, daughter, Sarah Vetere and husband Tom, daughter, Kristen Kercheval and grandsons, Tristan Kercheval and Gunnar Kercheval; her mother, Margaret Johnston; her sisters, Maggie King and Dianna Fennessey; and longtime boyfriend Craig Lane.

Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service to celebrate Lindy's life on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Sterling~White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, Texas 77562
