Micaela Dimas Zamarripa

Micaela Dimas Zamarripa, 82, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019. She was born in Villa de Guadalupe, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, on June 19, 1936, to Octaviano Dimas and Maria Cruz Martinez Dimas. Micaela was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who was very loving, unselfish and always thought of others. She was dedicated in her faith as a Christian woman and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Micaela enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to cook delicious meals for them. She liked to grow fruit trees and plant flowers in her garden. Micaela will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Octaviano Dimas and Maria Cruz Martinez Dimas; siblings, Pedro Dimas, Juanita Lopez, Luisa Hernandez, Virginio Dimas, and Maria Isabel Dimas.

Micaela is survived by her husband of 56 years, Angel Zamarripa Sr.; children, Demetrio Zamarripa and wife Martina, Moises Zamarripa and wife Isneida, Angel Jr. and wife Carmen, Martha Zamarripa, Daniel Zamarripa and wife Saralydia, and Ricardo Zamarripa and wife Rachelle; grandchildren, Luis Eduardo Zamarripa, Cynthia Nicole Garcia, Benjamin Ruben Zamarripa, Moises Zamarripa Jr., Ivette Zamarripa, Daniel Zamarripa Jr., Samuel Zamarripa, Joel Zamarripa, Sabian Zamarripa, Joaquin Harvey, and Aurora Micaela Zamarripa; sisters, Maria Vidalla Gomez and Catalina Diaz; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 17, 2018 also at Sterling White Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery,  8624 Garth Rd, Baytown, TX 77521.
