Otis Edward Dunaway

Otis “Sunny” Edward Dunaway, 85, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. He was born in Cedar Bayou on August 26, 1932 to Otis Clifton Dunaway and Marvel Lee Morgan Dunaway. Otis married the love of his life on June 20, 1953 and in just two weeks they would have been together for 65 years. He was an old-fashioned gentleman who loved his family and his animals. Over the years, he spent time raising cattle, goats, and catfish, and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Otis will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Otis Clifton and Marvel Lee Dunaway.

Otis is survived by his beloved wife, Edna Ulrich Dunaway; sons, Otis Dunaway and wife Kitty, and Mavis Dunaway and wife Inessa; granddaughter, Maria “Masha” Belyaeva; and a host of extended family and friends.

Serving as Pallbearers will be, Michael D. Dunaway Jr., Michael D. Dunaway III, Christopher Dunaway, Alan Buck, Jeff Buck, Brandon Keith Holy; Honorary Pallbearers will be, Jose Reynaldo Leal, John Stephen, and Don Nichols.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 11, 2018 also at Sterling White Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sterling White Cemetery.
