Patsy Ann Templeton

Patsy Ann Templeton, 79, of Channelview, Texas passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021. She was born January 25, 1942, in Nacogdoches, Texas to Oran Morton and Bernice Bridges-Morton. Patsy graduated from Galena Park High in the 1960s.   For 20 years, she worked as a Secretary for Houston Rail and Locomotive, and for 15 years before her retirement, she worked as a Secretary for the School District. Though Patsy enjoyed her job, the time away was spent with the ones she loved, her family, and friends.

Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marvin (Cotton) Templeton, her brother Charles Morton, and her son Darren Templeton.

She is survived by her siblings Billie Lee, Barbara Brown, Charles Morton (passed away 2-19-2021), and Helen Fuelburg. Her daughter Susan Tarver, four grandchildren Hunter Tarver, Gregg Tarver, William Templeton, Bailee Templeton, and three great-grandchildren: Darren Scott Templeton, Jaden Roy Templeton, and Cameron Preston-Tarver

Honoring the family as Pallbearers will be Aaron McMullen, Able Castillo, Cody McMullen, Jake Mortenson, Nick Bratton and Tyler Salesi.

Friends are invited to visit with the family Monday, March 1, 2021, at 10:00 am with a Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Sterling~White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Road Highlands, Texas 77562.

Due to COVID19, the funeral home will be requiring anyone coming into the facility to wear face coverings and to practice social distancing. We are recommending minimizing the size of services to help ensure the safety of our families and staff.
