Ronald Lynn Bowen

Ronald Lynn Bowen (Ron), 67, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019. He was born on August 31, 1952 in Carmel Valley, California to Charles William Bowen and Yvonne Bowen (Dintleman). Ron retired as a truck driver from Honey Solutions, where he worked for seventeen years. He worked as a truck driver for forty years.  Ron proudly served in the Navy, he loved people and never met a stranger.  He was a family man that loved his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.  He was an honest, trustworthy, and loving man.  He was a jack of all trades.  Ron had many hobbies and loved old cars, especially his gold El Camino.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Bowen; son, Scott Bowen; daughter, Amanda Thomas and sister, Carol Klaus.

Ronald is survived by his heart and soul of thirty years, Bernice Bowen; son, Joey Wyatt Sr. and wife Myralda; mother, Yvonne Dintleman; three brothers; two sisters; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Ronald’s life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., at Sterling White Funeral Home at 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Road, Highlands, TX 77562. Services will be conducted by Joey Wyatt Sr.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association.  To share memories and offer condolences please visit www.sterlingwhite.com.
