Sylvia Perez

Sylvia Perez, 67, of Baytown, Texas, passed away surrounded by her family at home on Monday, September 30, 2019. She was born in Laredo, Texas on April 11, 1952 to Eugenio Moncivais and Genoveva Rodriguez Moncivais. Sylvia was a wonderful woman with the biggest heart, who would have done anything for anyone. She enjoyed reading harlequin books, listening to music, and watching hallmark and western shows. Sylvia will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugenio and Genoveva Moncivais; brother, Gerardo “Jerry” Moncivais; and sisters, Hermelinda Hernandez and Margarita Moncivais.

Sylvia is survived by her husband of 46 years, Lazaro Perez; children, Heriberto Perez and wife Gabby, Ricardo Perez and wife Flor, Michael Perez and wife Marlen, and Nicole Perez; grandchildren, Marco, Adrian, Victoria, Avery, Joaquin, Zoë, and Marissa; nine siblings, and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Sterling White Funeral Home. A Celebration of Sylvia’s Life will begin at 3:00pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sterling White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd., Highlands, TX 77562.
