William Frank McLemore

William Frank McLemore 71, of Baytown, Texas went to be with the Lord on Monday July 31, 2017. He was born in Pasadena, Texas on October 30, 1945 to Mabel Bass and Henry McLemore. William owned and operated McLemore Automotive and was a very active member of First Baptist Church in Pasadena. William was a drag racer with the NHRA and a volunteer with the Drag Racing Association of Women and Racers for Christ. William also enjoyed traveling, spending time at the race track and sharing special time with his family. William was a very caring, straight forward man. You always knew where you stood with him.  He loved his family very much, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. William is survived by his beloved wife, Sarah McLemore; his sons, Craig McLemore (and partner, Steven Ryan) and Stacy McLemore (and wife, Kellie); his grandchildren, Spencer Chamblee and Bethany McLemore; his brothers and sister, Richard McLemore (and wife, Sue), Pat DeSpain (and husband, John) and Roger Aulds (and wife, Michal); his sister-in-law, Alice Bacak (and husband, Hank) and his brother-in-law, Jimmy Vest; his nieces and nephews, Darlene Deans, Michael McLemore, Brian Bacak, Julie Hydock, Lisa Bitter and Brad DeSpain. Also survived by other relatives and many friends.  A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands TX, on Thursday August 3, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday August 4, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas.
