Brenda's death is a loss to so many family and friends. She was always there when she heard of a need in family and friends. I do not know if I've ever know a sweeter, kinder and more compassionate person than Brenda. I know she is celebrating in Heaven with love ones who have gone before, but there are so many of us who are left behind with broken hearts. To Bob and all of her family my prayers and love will continue.

I will miss my friend and confidant. I want Lila, and Barb to know how special you her sisters were to her for I too have two sisters and we often compared how sweet life was having our sisters as friends. Family for Brenda was her life, along with her husband Bob, (who was the icing on her cake) you made her eyes sparkle as she often spoke of your adventures together. Her nieces, you she hoped would follow her example and carry the family torch. Keeping all together young and old celebrating life's many events. Loving and supporting each other no matter what differences you may have. I know she is with Jason and those who have gone before her and with out any more pain. Celebrate her life and be joyful in her memories you have and share them with one another. May God give you all his peace. With loving memories I have of my sweet friend. Lynda

I can barely stand the thought of the loss of Brenda at this age, it is too early. I believe that she was exactly 65 1/2. I have known my first cousin all our lives. She was born between my now deceased sister Lea Ann and myself. When we lost everything in Hurricane Carla, her Dad helped with the clean up and they let our family stay with them for the duration. The loss of her son Jason was truly tragic. She was the soul of giving, running our annual reunion; it was great when she got Bob to cook BBQ for us. She suffered with her knee replacement surgery, and shared her ordeal, and the support of her nurse, her husband Bob with us. I watched her tend to both her parents as their lives came to an end as well. Again, she had to call on Bob's support during that time. She is an angel, I hope God puts her to good use up there in heaven. All my sorrow...all my love.

We will miss Brenda tremendously. Our friendship started when I was 12 or 13 at First Baptist Chuch in Highlands. As time went on...I would stay weekends and sometimes longer with she and her family. Her parents were another Mom and Dad to me...Brenda was a sister. What fun and laughing went on with her delicious sense of humor. Our youth group was big, boisterous and always active. Having Brenda in my life was a big part of that! I will always live you, girlie!!

To all the family members of Brenda, my deepest sympathy. Brenda was such a wonderful person, co-worker and friend. She always had a smile on her face and was such a happy person. She had a laugh that was contagious. Brenda was an Angel here on earth and will be an awesome Angel in Heaven watching over us all. She will be greatly missed!
